Minimum order quantity
Please note we sell all products in increments of 5 and our minimum basket quantity is 30 units, with the following exceptions that are sold in batches :
Should you wish to try some of our products before placing an order, we will happily send some mini soap samples free of charge. We would only ask you to cover the shipping costs if you are outside the UK.
Placing an order
In stock orders can be made via this website, we are also happy to make pre-orders in larger batches, please contact us as firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Payment is by bank transfer, once you have completed your order (gone through check out) you will be issued a “order on hold” email which will contain our bank details along with a copy of your invoice.
Please note that payment is required within 3 working days of your order date, once this has passed we will not be able to hold your order and the stock will be released.
Once payment has been recieved our end we will send you a “Order Confirmation email”
The wholesale price is set in advance, and the retail price suggested is an indicative price based on our own retail website. While this is not mandatory, we kindly ask our stockists, whenever possible, not to sell our products below the recommended price. However, feel free to offer bundles or occasional discounts
35% for orders £299.99 and under
40% for orders £300.00 and above
The above discount is based on the RRP basket value and is automatically applied at check out.
UK Shipping is calculated at checkout, we ship orders with tracked & Insured services.
Shipping outside the UK will be calculated and invoiced separately. Customs or import duty fees may be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Please check possible fees in your country before placing an order.
The products supplied by Chalke Valley Soaps are delivered at the risk of Chalke Valley Soaps unless a customer stipulates a special method of delivery. However, liability for the loss of the delivery shall be limited to the replacement of the products, or to a full refund of the invoice value.
Should you receive damaged goods please notify us via email within 48 hours. Please include images. All such products will be replaced – according to availability – or they will be refunded. We will cover shipping expenses for any damaged products.
We produce all-natural products without adding any preservatives so we recommend using our products within 6 months of purchase. However, our handmade soaps will last even longer, but the natural scents of the essential oils may fade with time. You can prevent this by keeping them in airtight, non-metal containers.
Our products must be kept in a cool and dry environment. Damp and warm conditions can damage handmade soaps. We recommend keeping any off-shelf stock in containers with loose lid and lined with parchment paper. To provide the best storage conditions, we recommend adding a couple of bags of Silica Gel to each container. All variants should be stored in separate containers. These BPA free containers are perfect, they are great quality, stackable, food-safe, non-toxic and there are many size options available.
We offer Chalke Valley Soaps branded wooden displays in different sizes. The price is starting at £24 for a standard size 6 section stand.
Larger displays available on request.
Please note: handmade soaps made with essential oils must be not in contact with any metal surfaces (eg. metal shelves, trays, etc).
Please note that at this time Chalke Valley Soaps is the only approved B2B distributor of Chalke Valley Soaps products.
We offer exclusivity for our ‘brick-and-mortar’ stockists simply based on postcodes and distances. If a postcode covers a large area, we check if the distance is not less than 20 miles based on Google maps.
To protect exclusivity in your area, we only require you to place an order 3 times a year.

Please consider that as our products are handmade in small batches, they may vary in design, size, shape, weight, scent and colour.
We love playing with our designs from time to time, so if you would like to see the latest batches, please feel free to email us for photos.
Natural variations and design updates are beautiful parts of our products and should be expected and are not ground for a refund or replacement.
Professional photographs of our products are available for all our stockists to use across websites and social media platforms. Please feel free to download & use any images you like from our website or Instagram. Let us know if you need high-resolution photos.
