KEY COMPONENTS

Raw Honey offers natural antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It’s excellent for ageing skin and well known for its moisturising and soothing effects. We source our beautiful fragrant raw honey locally.

Chamomile is a soothing, anti-inflammatory and healing plant that is known to calm troubled and sensitive skin. We use both freshly ground as well as an in-house oil infusion.

Calendula has resin-rich anti-inflammatory compounds that have the ability to heal superficial wounds while offering anti-microbial properties. We use both freshly ground as well as in-house oil infusions.

Jojoba oil is renowned for its unique properties, balances oil production, providing deep moisturisation and preserving skin elasticity. Enriched with vitamins E and B, it actively nourishes and shields the skin.

To use, rub between your palms under warm water to create a luxurious lather. Embrace the moment, washing your body while singing your favourite melody, and finally, rinse. Experience the wonder of a cleansing ritual that leaves your skin renewed, fresh, and irresistibly smooth.

Maximise your soap’s lifespan
Help your beautiful handmade soap last longer by allowing it to dry out completely between uses. If you need a beautiful and well draining soap dish, then check out our accessories.

Tip for easier handling
Our soaps are rather large, so feel free to cut them in half to make them easier to handle. This makes them perfect for kids too! Enjoy the goodness in a size that suits you best.

Always consult your doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy!
Although our soaps are mild enough for small children, be aware that the toppings can include small pieces, such as seeds and petals, so please remove them before use or keep out of reach for under 3s!
Please note! As we use Sweet Almond Oil in our recipes, our soaps are not suitable for those with serious nut allergies!

MADE WITH THE MOST NOURISHING OILS

Olive oil
Gentle cleansing and rich moisturisation characterise olive oil, maintaining skin's natural balance. Packed with antioxidants and vitamin E, it nurtures the skin with essential nutrients.
Coconut oil
Known for its cleansing and foaming properties, coconut oil adds a luxurious lather. Enriched with fatty acids, it contributes to skin hydration and smoothness.
Shea butter
Exceptionally rich and nourishing, shea butter offers deep moisturisation. Abundant in vitamins A and E, it provides anti-inflammatory benefits, promoting skin health.
Sunflower oil
Light and moisturising, sunflower oil creates a creamy lather, perfect for dry and sensitive skin. Rich in antioxidants, it provides a nourishing boost to the skin.
Almond oil
Rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants, effectively soothes dryness and irritation by regenerating damaged cells. It leaves the skin hydrated and smooth, providing nourishment and revitalisation.
Castor oil
Renowned for purging and detoxing, castor oil is effective for acne-prone skin, promoting increased cell turnover. It's a source of ricinoleic acid, aiding in skin rejuvenation.

Honey Meadow

I bought this as a sample and boy am I impressed.. I have very itchy skin and mostly on my arms.. As soon as I tried this soap I was blown away firstly by the feel of the soap before the water.. It felt moisturising I could already feel the oil and Butters. As soon as I used it the sample I knew it was going to be special.. It lathers up beautifully and almost feels like your bathing in rich cream. Honey Meadow creates the most beautiful moisturising lather and instantly I knew this little sample was going to be a firm favourite. After washing my skin felt lovely I didn't have that tight feeling that commercial soaps leaves and I didn't feel the tiny pin picks of itchiness that normal soaps gives me. I've sadly used all the sample so I'm definitely going to buy the full sized bar. Thankyou Chalke Valley Soaps for helping clear my itchy skin! I can't wait to try more of your products.

Highly recommended! It’s a miracle!

I have been using the Honey Meadow bar from Chalke Valley Soaps for 6 months. I suffer from very bad eczema, especially on my hands and lower arms. The first thing I noticed after using this soap for a couple of days is that the itchiness had gone. Then my patches were less tight, and finally, they started to fade. My eczema has not disappeared completely, but it has improved massively with the help of this amazing natural bar. I had a consultation directly with the owner of the company who kindly recommended this product based on past feedback. She suggested talking to my GP first, which I skipped, knowing that they have talked me out of many things before. I'm so glad I finally gave HM a go because it has changed my life!
