KEY COMPONENTS

Rosemary essential oil (organic) supports healthy circulation and helps invigorate tired or dull skin. Its stimulating and clarifying properties promote a refreshed, balanced complexion while offering natural anti-inflammatory benefits.

Clary Sage essential oil (organic) is valued for its soothing and balancing qualities. It helps calm inflammation, support the skin’s natural pH, and encourage a more even, harmonious complexion.

Sage leaf (homegrown organic) provides gentle exfoliation while adding a grounding botanical touch. Carefully hand processed, it helps lightly polish the skin and enhance texture without irritation.

Rosemary leaf (homegrown organic) offers mild exfoliating and revitalising properties. Hand processed to preserve its purity, it supports a refreshed, stimulated appearance and natural glow.

French green clay deeply cleanses and detoxifies the skin. Rich in minerals, it helps draw out impurities, balance excess oil, and leave the complexion feeling purified and revitalised.

Seaweed is rich in antioxidants and essential trace minerals that support hydration and elasticity. It helps nourish, replenish and promote a healthy, radiant-looking complexion.

INSTRUCTIONS & CARE


To use, lather the soap between your hands under warm water until it becomes rich and creamy. Glide it over your skin as you wash, maybe even hum your favourite tune while you’re at it. Rinse well and enjoy that clean, soft feeling that makes every wash feel like a treat.

Maximise your soap’s lifespan
Help your beautiful handmade soap last longer by allowing it to dry out completely between uses. If you need a beautiful and well draining soap dish, then check out our accessories.

Tip for easier handling
Our soaps are rather large, so feel free to cut them in half to make them easier to handle. This makes them perfect for kids too! Enjoy the goodness in a size that suits you best.

WARNINGS

  • Avoid contact with the eyes!
  • If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use!
  • Avoid in case of known allergy to listed ingredients!
  • Always consult your doctor before using essential oil products during pregnancy!
  • Although our soaps are mild enough for small children, be aware that the toppings can include small pieces, such as seeds and petals, so please remove them before use or keep out of reach for under 3s!
  • Please note! As we use Sweet Almond Oil in our recipes, our soaps are not suitable for those with serious nut allergies!

  • Olive oil

    Gentle cleansing and rich moisturisation characterise olive oil, maintaining skin's natural balance. Packed with antioxidants and vitamin E, it nurtures the skin with essential nutrients.

  • Coconut oil

    Known for its cleansing and foaming properties, coconut oil adds a luxurious lather. Enriched with fatty acids, it contributes to skin hydration and smoothness.

  • Shea butter

    Exceptionally rich and nourishing, shea butter offers deep moisturisation. Abundant in vitamins A and E, it provides anti-inflammatory benefits, promoting skin health.

  • Sunflower oil

    Light and moisturising, sunflower oil creates a creamy lather, perfect for dry and sensitive skin. Rich in antioxidants, it provides a nourishing boost to the skin.

  • Almond oil

    Rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants, effectively soothes dryness and irritation by regenerating damaged cells. It leaves the skin hydrated and smooth, providing nourishment and revitalisation.

  • Castor oil

I bought this as a sample to try and firstly when I opened the envelope my sample was in I could smell the beautiful fragrance.. I have started using it on my face and so far my skin is loving it.. Doesn't feel like a soap you don't get that tight itchy feeling that commercial soap leaves. Its brilliant for oily skin and think that might have something to do with the Clay that absorbs the excess oil along with the Rosemary clary sage which is anti inflammatory so great for acne prone skin on face and body. Definitely buy this again.. Thankyou Chalke Valley for yet another awesome Soap!!

Very nice quality soap

I had my first Herb Lagoon for my 40th birthday back in 2022 and I fell in love with it as soon as I started using it in the bath. I already purchased a few more, including different fragrances, they’re all fabulous, but this one is my favourite. The fragrance is so unique with herbaceous and floral notes that I LOVE. It is very good for my usually dry skin as well, making it soft and smooth.

Best soap I ever tried!

I use this soap daily in my shower since the day it's been launched and always loved it. But since it's been 'updated', I feel like I couldn't live without it! The little change in the scent combination was spot on and the quality got even better! The lather is just incredible, rich, creamy and bubbly at the same time, it feels so luxurious. I never experienced anything similar with other soaps. I usually order Herb Lagoon in 5s (using the bundle discount) since I don't live in the UK so they last for almost a year!
