BE AWARE: AI Information
We want to be transparent with you—like most creators these days, we used AI to help shape some of the wording throughout this course. The actual content, methods, formulas and calculations, however, have been developed and tested through real-life experience and years of hands-on soap making.
Why are we stressing this?
Because relying on AI to learn how to make soap can be a serious mistake. Certain AI, (especially free resources) often generate dangerously inaccurate information. When it comes to handling potentially hazardous materials such as lye calculations, ingredient safety, or chemical reactions, you have to do the work properly. We have tested some AI systems ourselves, including Chat GPT, and the results were sometimes total nonsense. If followed blindly, they could lead to ruined batches, wasted materials, harmful skin reactions, or even eye injuries. And yes, in a worst-case scenario, this could trigger legal trouble if you’re selling products based on incorrect methods. Soap-making is a beautiful craft, but it’s also a science. It requires precision, proper knowledge, and responsibility. Please don’t cut corners or take risks by relying on AI-generated content. Your safety—and your customers’ safety—is far too important.
