The content, methods, formulas and calculations in this course have all been developed by myself (Helga - just a fellow human), tested through real-life experience and years of hands-on soap making.
AI and soap making
Relying on AI to learn how to make soap can be a serious mistake. Certain AI, (especially free resources) often generate dangerously inaccurate information. When it comes to handling potentially hazardous materials such as lye calculations, ingredient safety, or chemical reactions, you have to do the work properly. We have tested some AI systems ourselves, including Chat GPT, and the results were sometimes total nonsense. If followed blindly, they could lead to ruined batches, wasted materials, harmful skin reactions, or even eye injuries. And yes, in a worst-case scenario, this could trigger legal trouble if you’re selling products based on incorrect methods. Soap-making is a beautiful craft, but it’s also a science. It requires precision, proper knowledge, and responsibility. Please don’t cut corners or take risks by relying on AI-generated content. Your and your customers’ safety is far too important.

I’ve taken a few soap making courses before, but this one really stands out. My absolute favorite is the testing sheet! It’s such a smart idea, seriously. You can print it out and hand it to friends or family to try your soaps before you start selling. It has a quick questionnaire and a two-week tracker where people can just tick boxes each day to say how their skin felt. No fuss, just super clear and helpful. It really helped me figure out if my formulation was working or not. And honestly, that kind of feedback is gold. The whole course was great, and there are loads of other useful downloads too.
